Serves 4
Ingredients:
- Bacon – one package with 8 pieces
- 8oz pkg. cream cheese
- 16 jalapeños
- 4-6 stalks of celery
- 1-2 stalks of rhubarb
- 1/2 pound asian pears or 32 ground cherries
Directions:
- Cut bacon into 4ths.
- Remove stem of jalapeños
- Slice jalapeños length-wise in half. Remove the seeds and ribs.
- Spread and fill each jalapeño half with cream cheese.
- Push a toothpick through the bottom of each jalapeño.
- Add bacon, then celery and/or rhubarb, and top off with a chunk of asian pear or ground cherry.
- Cook at 375 until jalapeños wrinkle.
