Ingredients:
- 12 oz petite green beans
- 3/4 cup almonds
- Butter or olive oil
- 3 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup minced chives
- 1/8 – 1/4 cup fresh summer savory leaves
- 1 cup chopped lime basil or traditional basil leaves
- 1/2 cup French sorrel leaves chopped

- Coarsely chop almonds and sauté in butter or butter alternative such as Coconut Earth Balance for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more butter. Sauté garlic for 5 minutes. Then add chives, summer savory, (lime) basil and sorrel. Sauté for 5 additional minutes.
- Mix steamed green beans, sautéed almonds and herbs together.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
