Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. dark leafy greens, chopped to bite-size pieces, including the stem
- 6 tsp garlic
- 3/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
- toasted sesame oil
- 5 Tbsp coconut aminos
- 5 Tbsp water
- 1/2 cup sliced shallots
- 1/3 cup diced candied ginger
Directions:
- Sauté on medium high shallots in sesame seed oil until translucent. Add garlic and cook until browned.
- Lower heat to medium and add candied ginger, coconut aminos and water to pan. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile steam fresh or frozen dark leafy greens for 12 minutes.
- Mix add ginger mixture to greens and top with toasted walnuts.
