Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 garlic cloves minced.
- 1 cup borage (leaves only)
- 1/2 cup fresh oregano leaves (or 2 tsp. dried)
- 1 medium-size red serrano pepper or 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup sherry vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Directions:
- Boil 1/2 cup of water to dissolve the 1 teaspoon of salt. Once the salt is dissolved, let the water cool.
- Sauté minced garlic cloves in olive oil until golden brown.
- Add all ingredients, but the olive oil, into a food processor and puree.
- Pour in olive oil and mix for 30 seconds.
- Allow the sauce to marinate for a few hours before serving.
