Makes 1.5 cups
Ingredients:
- 12 oz tomatillos, chopped
- 3-5 oz garden sorrel leaves, minced
- 3/4 cup leek, chopped small
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- 3/8 salt
- 10 buzz buttons or 3/4 tsp sugar rush red hot pepper spice
Directions:
- Sauté leeks in olive oil until translucent.
- Mix tomatillos, sorrel, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt with the sautéed leeks.
- Mix in hot pepper spice. OR mince the buzz buttons and sprinkle on top of the finished salsa.
